🎤 Felicity Urquhart

Felicity Urquhart grew up at Tamworth listening to country records at home and a local radio programme before bedtime. She practised being an announcer by taping her own bedroom broadcasts, then began busking on Peel Street at eleven. Money earned in her father's upholstery workshop helped her save for a guitar. Performing and radio presenting later brought those interests together professionally. 🎵 Troy Cassar-Daley

Troy Cassar-Daley came to Tamworth as a young musician from Grafton, busking in the country music centre by twelve. Later performances and Golden Guitar wins made the city a recurring place of professional recognition. In 2003 he collected awards for songwriting, male vocal performance and a collaboration with Paul Kelly.
